The George, Cavendish offers a relaxed dining environment in which to enjoy a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes. The newly refurbished dining area offers a warm & inviting space by the fire during winter. During the summer customers are also welcomed to the walled garden at the rear decorated with flowering pots and offering a large canopy from the sun.
Local ingredients are used wherever possible on our, mainly, European inspired menu and the selection is constantly changing to offer different delights on every visit. Set meals are available during the week for lunch & dinner and a selection of special dishes are available at the weekend.
It is also possible to stay at the George and continue the enjoyment in one of the four newly refurbished bedrooms full of character. The picturesque village of Cavendish and relaxing environment make us an ideal location for Short Breaks & Weddings or as a base from which to explore the area.
